TALK & TAPAS: The Process and Significance of Landscape Painting

This December our Talks and Tapas event will explore the work of Kurt Jackson. Alongside authentic Spanish tapas and champagne there will be an in-focus discussion led by art critic David Boyd Haycock examining Jackson’s artistic process.

Working both out on the riverbank and in the studio Jackson’s work takes many forms but never deviates from powerful observation and an obsession with the natural environment and its fragility. The evening will be an opportunity to hear the insights of a leading art critic into the practice of landscape painting and the context around this significant painter.
