This summer, on the day the festival would have opened, we are delighted to introduce the latest Glastonbury collection of paintings by Kurt Jackson, as part of our online programming. Kurt, who has been described as ‘one of Britain’s most compelling contemporary painters’, has been the official Artist-in-Residence at Glastonbury Festival for over twenty years, in this time, over £250,000 has been raised for the festival charities Oxfam, Greenpeace and WaterAid via sales of his Glastonbury paintings.

Kurt’s brings his trademark use of shimmering light and colour, vividly capturing the vibrancy, energy and movement of the festival and the surrounding Somerset landscape.
